*All proceeds from this event will be donated to Ayaan Hirshi Ali’s AHA foundation
Greg is a supporter of Ayaan Hirsi Ali and her AHA Foundation.
A month ago Ayaan tweeted her support of J.K.Rowling.
Impressed by Ayaan’s support of a woman and fellow artist under attack, and by J.K. ‘s recent championing of young illustrators on twitter, Greg retweeted his support to both women.
Clancy retweeted Greg’s support, then the mob came for them both, accusing them of being transphobes.
Greg and Clancy were targeted/trolled by a few outraged video gamers, even some of their own fan bases.
A couple of disgruntled fans even started petitions to present to Bioware & EA Games, the makers of Dragon Age, demanding Greg never be employed on their games again.
Clancy and Greg created this special event to discuss this situation as well as the intersection of our real & virtual reality world’s.
